Preparation of Didactic Materials for Teaching First Aid at Elementary Schools

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of first aid education at the second stage of elementary schools. The aim of the thesis was to create a set of tasks that the teacher can use as a part of the students' independent work during the time when the teacher is working with other students during practical training. The first part of the thesis contains a general overview of the importance of first aid, the integration of first aid in curricular documents at elementary schools and the possibilities of teaching first aid, including organizational forms, methods and didactic tools for teaching first aid in schools. The second part deals with the creation of worksheets with tasks and their evaluation. A total of 9 different types of tasks were created in 4 variants, which were then grouped into 4 worksheets. The assessment of the applicability of the tasks in practice was carried out in the form of an evaluation questionnaire, in terms of comprehensibility, difficulty and entertainment. The results show that the created tasks meet the above-mentioned characteristics at an appropriate level - the pupils rated them as comprehensible, reasonably challenging and entertaining. Gabriela Čanigová Teaching focused on the development of foreigners` language skills - benefits and disadvantages at work with class in Science in 2nd grade ABSTRACT The work will deal with the development of language skills of pupils with different mother tongue and evaluation of the possible benefits of including such focused activities in teaching the whole class. As many research surveys show, weakened language skills in the mother tongue are not only for pupils with a different mother tongue. Adjusting teaching to pupils with different foreigners language could enrich other pupils as well. On the other hand, it is possible that these activities will be too simple for most pupils, which could lead to a loss of interest. Another possible risk appears to be time consuming, which could lead to the need to reduce the scope and possibly the content of education. The research will be carried out in two research groups in the form of experimental teaching of selected topics of the subject Prvouka. Use of Montessori Teaching Method in Primary School

The thesis is focused on the use of the Marie Montessori method at the second stage of the primary school. The first part explains the principles of Montessori education and training, including the introduction of appropriate didactic recommendations. There are mentioned possibilities of project teaching and description of the cooking project that is the subject of the research. The aim of this work was to find out what changes pupils perceive after completing the annual cooking project. The results showed that pupils learned how to cook, work in a team and how to resolve conflicts. They started eating more vegetables. Cooking is fun. In the future, pupils want to choose whether or not to participate in the project.
Development of pupils' autonomy at C.Freinet's schools

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of an autonomy in the environment of Célestin Freinet's pedagogy. As the principal aim of the thesis the author has chosen to demonstrate the potential of this pedagogy in the sphere of the pupils' autonomy development. The theoretical part is divided into two thematic areas. The first area deals with the concept of autonomy. At first, it seeks to define the concept at a general level and then in the context of education. This part also includes a description of the self-determination theory and its bases for a self-regulation. The second area focuses on C. Freinet's pedagogy. There are characterized both his personality and the basic pedagogical principles. In the conclusion there are presented the opportunities for the autonomy development in the environment of Freinet's schools. The practical part contains three chapters, each focused on a different research method. The first chapter consists of a case study of the École des Bruyères, which applies the C. Freinet's pedagogical concept, and of the observation that the author has made in the 3rd and 4th grade of this school. Analysis of Classroom Comunication by German Language Teaching in Second Stage of Basic Education

Thesis entitled ?Analysis of educational communication in the lessons of German language at the second degree of elementary school? contains a theoretical and an empirical part. Its aim is to find out whether the pupils of this type of school have a sufficient space for their communication. In order to investigate this fact, there will be watching of the teaching of German lessons. This method is also enriched by interviewing students and their teachers. The research will be held at two elementary schools. Based on the obtained results, there will be compared both schools. In this thesis is explained the issues of communication. The most common and the best-known definitions of communication appear there. It is composed largely of types of communication and a big attention is paid to teaching communication. We cannot forget the methods and forms of teaching, which are used by the teacher in German lessons. Very important is also the individual work of students, in which they will practice and learn the discussed schoolwork. The aim of this work is to find out the issues of communication and possibilities to use the organizational forms of teaching and methods for improvement of teaching of German lessons.
Videosequences and their Application in the Lessons of Physics at the Secondary School Instruction

The main theme of the thesis is a video sequence, its production and use in physics education at primary and secondary schools. Teaching enriched of short videos is dynamic and illustrative. Students see a situation that could otherwise only read in an austere entry in a textbook example. It is based on the assumption that the demonstration, in addition to teaching, is an appropriate means for obtaining and verification of theoretical knowledge. Moreover, if the children create it themselves, it will be suitable method to develop their skills and creativity, which is as important in the process of learning as knowledge itself.
Encourage student of high school to be activ in German lessons

This diploma thesis deals with the activation of activities teachers, which has a stimulating effect on the activities of students in learning the German language at secondary schools in Jihocesky county. German language was chosen purposely, because the most important thing while teaching foreign languages is to involve the student into a mutual communication as much as possible. The student has to be very active to be able to assume the foreign language. This thesis is divided into theoretical and research. The theme of this thesis is to release the ways how teachers stimulate the activity of pupils in the German language teaching. It is also important to find out if there is any interaction between the activation of activities teachers and a student?s activity during the lesson. We can get to know this interaction by statistical calculations. Among one of the methods of quantitatively directed analyses belongs standardized method of observation, which was used right for this research. To be specific it was an interactive analysis. There was applied Flanders observation system for an activity of a teacher and Tabers observation system for an activity of a student. There are described various ways and methods how to stimulate a student to be more active.
